Skin Care TipsClick Image To Visit SiteSkin care tips have always been a major part of combating aging and helping people struggling with the pursuit of keeping their youthful looks. And there is no price to high or great to try and maintain that youthful glow. The reasons for this is that ageing skin is one of the first signs of the years gaining on us, so we want to fight back with what ever resources we have at our disposal.

When bathing or showering try and avoid the really hot water as this robs your skin of a lot of the natural oils. When drying yourself off dont be too vigorous with the towel, but rather just try and pat yourself down. Also while your skin is still a bit damp this is the ideal time to apply a good moisturizer. The main idea here is to not to lose anymore moister then absolutely necessary, especially in the winter months when the air is really dry.

Many people suffer from dry skin all year long. But the winter is especially harsh to our skin. Their are plenty of ways to prevent dry skin. For Example:

1. Dry skin is the outcome of dehydration. Drink at least 8 glasses of water every day.

2. Dieting. Having a good diet can keep your skin healthy.

3. Dry skin lacks natural oils. Moisturizing twice a day can keep oils in your skin. Also, I have found that bananas moisturize the skin.

4. When taking a shower, don’t use soap bars. They can be very harsh on your skin because they lack oil. Also, don’t wash your skin too often. Once or twice a day is all your skin needs.

5. Exfoliating your skin, once a week, removes dead skin cells. Your skin needs to breath. With dead skin cells your skin becomes dry and flaky.

All in all, following these regimens will improve the health of you skin.

Some people are lucky enough to have naturally good skin even without using skin care creams and moisturizing products. People in good health may generally also have clear glowing skin but harsh pollutants in the air and UV rays from the sun take their toll on everyone’s skin so some extra care is necessary for protection.

Both men and women are now almost equal when it comes to taking care of their appearances because looking good is a great confidence booster and this includes a clean fresh looking skin tone. Some people are lazy when it comes to skin care, while other follows it as their daily regimen before bedtime, and also first thing in the morning when brushing their teeth or bathing. The variety of skin moisturizing creams, cleansers, and anti ageing creams on the market can be beneficial to your skin as long as they are chosen with care.

Too much cosmetic skin care can be harmful and same goes when it comes to too little, so a balance and some common sense is the best when it comes to skin care. The most important thing to consider when it concerns skin care is cleaning your skin properly on a daily basis especially where it is exposed. You facial skin is where you are likely to take the biggest beating. For women extra care needs to be taken when looking after your face.

Men that shave are lucky in the sense that this procedure removes dead skin and acts as a massage to their faces at the same time. There are a variety of after shave skin care products for men as well, and these have become extremely popular.

For women an exfoliation skin care clean is the best way to completely cleanse the pores of your skin and freshen and renew the elasticity of your skin. Following up with a quality moisturizer is sensible to replace the natural oils you may lose.

Beauty enhancing skin care products and anti ageing skin care creams can be used ,after cleansing. both for protection and beauty enhancement as well.

Choosing the right skin care product for the type of skin you have is vital. See some tips I have mentioned previously which I will go over again here.

1. Make certain to always choose products that suit your skin type. This includes beauty enhancement products and daily skin care products as well. The manufacturer label will indicate whether it is for dry oily or chapped ,problem skin types.

2. Try the product out to make sure there is no allergic reaction to the product. This can be done by using some on your ear lobes or on back of your neck.

3. Try and stick to skin care products that are natural. Normally good quality products will list the ingredients on the bottle or jar. Avoid skin care products that have high alcohol content or acidic ingredients. If you are not sure ask the pharmacists or beautician if the skin care product will suit your skin type.

4 Use the product as instructed. Normally tests would have been done to see what is best. Too much may be a waste and too little may not give you the desired result.

5. If you have a problem skin, then seek advice from a dermatologist or beautician who will be able to suggest the best types of skin care products for your skin type.

Our skin is the biggest organ and the most delicate also. It requires constant moisturizing, hydration and pores kept free from blockages, for you to have a radiant complexion. When we sweat, the built in toxins are released through our skin pores, thus keeping our skin clean and healthy.
When you are young, the skin has inherent natural oils that it secretes to keep the skin healthy and supple. However, as we age, the skin gets drier and loses its ability to produce oils, so you need extra application of natural organic creams and lotions for intense moisturizing of the skin.

When the skin loses moisture, it becomes very dry and cracks appear or skin peels and becomes irritated. Usually, the fungi and microbial infections sets in damaged dry skin and later flares up. Dry skin not only does not look good but the accumulation of dead skin cells, need constant exfoliation. Some home beauty tips are very effective when you have dry skin. Mash up a banana and add some honey and little milk to make a paste. You can also add a few drops of your favorite essential oil like sandal, rose or lavender to get the perfect fragrance. Apply this rejuvenating face mask and leave it on for at least 10 to 15 minutes. Wash it off with warm water and apply pure almond oil or avocado oil as moisturizer. Repeat this process once a day for a fortnight and see the difference!
The best way to clean your dry/damaged skin is to use a mild soap and use extra moisturizers like pure oils for maximum benefits. Avoid any alcohol based skin care product as it tends to dry out the skin. Alkaline soaps and skin care lotions should be used. Drinking plenty of water every day and eating a balanced diet certainly helps you have an acne free, well nourished beautiful skin. Protect your skin from the harsh rays of the sun and use a soft, gentle sunscreen lotion when ever you go out. Follow the tips and you will see your dull, luster less dry facial skin transform into a supple, soft and beautiful complexioned young face.

Tips for dry skin prevention – Part 1

January 19th, 2011
4597300416 74c0e4974e m Tips for dry skin prevention Part 1

I suffer a lot with dry skin, especially during the cold winter months, my skin goes really flaky and lives on the top surface of my skin and does not look attractive at all!

I tried so many products that would get rid of dry skin and most important to prevent it from coming back.

Thats when I discovered a product called Bio-Oil. not only does it take away dry skin it also reduces stretch marks, evens skin tone and reduces scars. whilst leaving your skin looking lovely and smooth and radiant

the best thing to do is use it before you get in the shower/bath and after you have body brushed as sometimes water can cause dry skin by drawing out all the natural oils in your skin but Bio-oil locks in all the moisture. i then put bio-oil on me after getting out of the bath/shower before towel drying myself. if you suffer from very very dry skin then maybe use bio-oil before going to bed at night as it does not feel horrible and greasy once applied. it smells nice as well as have many uses. it really is a great product id recommend it to anyone.

Another way to get rid of dry skin is to use a really thick moisturizer or to possibly use a moisturizer thats for babies as that has ingredients in the product that keeps skin soft. make sure you exfoliate at least once a week on your face and body as you may think you have dry skin but it could be where you need to exfoliate!

Sometimes if you shower more than once a day that can make your skin dry out as the water could be drawing out all the natural body oils and showering to much could be the cause, so maybe shower/bath once a day and not be too rough when towel drying yourself just dab yourself with the towel or if you can just leave the water to soak into your skin thats always a good idea if you cannot afford all these products that say they are the next best thing!

If you don’t have a budget then body wraps at a good salon would be a good way to go, products are applied to the skin with a massage which is good to stimulate circulation which could be a cause of dry skin, and then your wrapped in an insulated blanket for about half an hour at the most and then once removed your skin feels so silky and soft and doing that once a month could help improve circulation which could also get rid of any cellulite and stretch marks as well as dry skin and prevent it from coming back.
